damn. it took 45 minutes to set up the dev environment. not distracted in any way -- this is a first! :) had to do some fine setup stuff to get it going.

fuck. the issue turned out to be production.ini not being right. probably the prev one would have worked just fine.

i got original setup to work... this is great coz i can now do rsync - which would have been messy with the new setup. [7:54]
